Northwest Event Show: Floor Plan With Event Schedule
Northwest Event Show is the main conference for event professionals in the Pacific Northwest. It features 250+ booths and attracts more than 3,000 industry professionals.
The event took place on 3-4 of April at 6-store Seattle Convention Center. The event used 260,000 square feet of event space spread over 4 floors.
This is our second year of cooperation with Northwest Event Show, and we wanted to ensure that attendees spend their time effectively at this large venue. Our interactive floor plan with wayfinding allows visitors to find the quickest route to the booths and halls. Using CloudTouch digital kiosks helped to make it even easier without the necessity of using phones. Visitors were shown their current location on a screen and the shortest way to the points of interest.
Organizers used most of our floor plan and had a huge focus on the exhibitors completing their company listing on ExpoFP. They displayed sponsors' logos in the header. It led to more clicks on their booths, as typically logo in header gets an exhibitor on average 523% more views in comparison with a standard booth.
"We wanted to be sure they had another way to showcase their business at the show, and using the listing on the floor map was a great way to do that," says Lisa Schulteis, Founder, Event Strategist, and Producer of Northwest Event Show. They also used exhibitor forms that displayed all information about companies on the floor plan, including social media links and videos. It enhances visitor experience, as they could access the useful data directly from the map.
Another significant feature was an event schedule embedded into the floor plan. This became possible due to our cooperation with SessionBoard.
SessionBoard granted us access to the event, enabling to integrate a chosen trade show into our ExpoFP View. All event data was automatically imported and updated in real-time, eliminating the need for organizers to constantly contact the Support Team for changes.
For visitors it was also useful, as they had access to the program on the floor plan and could find the quickest routes to the halls and stages where presentations took place.
"Our primary focus is enhancing the experience for both attendees and organizers alike. Our floor plans help organizers save time and make money, while making it super easy for attendees to get around at the show. We understand that satisfied attendees are key to the success of any event, which is why we always think about introducing new features, such as event schedule," says Ross Sudentas, CEO of ExpoFP.
"We built the floor plan early in the planning stages for 2024 and used it for placement of booths, activations and stages. The drag and drop interface makes it easy to adjust the floor plan as we go. I also like the digital wayfinding feature. I use it at other events all the time. It's so much easier to pull out my phone and find the stage or exhibitor I am looking for," says Lisa Schulteis.
